The TELEO demonstration validates GEO feeder links using the French Optical Ground Station (FrOGS) in a bistatic architecture. By separating the uplink and downlink paths, the system achieves superior adaptive optics (AO) performance compared to traditional monostatic configurations. This advancement confirms the viability of high-bandwidth optical feeder links for commercial satellite communications.
