The integration of high-speed serial optical transceivers with the Hyperion Digital Processor on the OneSat platform enables high-throughput digital inter-processor data exchange. By bypassing the physical bottlenecks of copper-based backplanes, this optical link architecture supports advanced dynamic beamforming and large user capacity. This shift to photonics provides the necessary bandwidth for next-generation communication and observation missions.
