The radiation-tolerant event-based sensor leverages asynchronous image sensing to achieve ultra-low latency and reduced data throughput for space-based sun tracking. TID testing up to 58 krad confirms the sensor maintains stability in centroid position and power consumption under harsh orbital conditions. This technology provides high temporal resolution and robust performance for dynamic scene processing in space.
