The MicroLIBS instrument features a miniature two-axis scan mechanism designed for high-precision laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy on lunar or Martian rovers. Measuring only 50x100mm and weighing under 150g, the actuator delivers 230° of azimuth range with 20µrad repeatability. This ultra-lightweight design enables rapid elemental micro-mapping in severely mass-constrained exploration environments.
