LIG-A-Cube replaces traditional capacitive readout with laser interferometry to achieve high-resolution, low-noise acceleration measurements for space-based geodesy. By eliminating the non-linearities and gas-damping constraints of capacitive sensors, the interferometric readout enables superior sensitivity in the millihertz frequency band. This technology provides a critical advancement for fundamental physics experiments and precise inertial sensing.
