This metrology suite enables on-orbit co-phasing of 3.6m-class segmented telescopes for geostationary Earth observation. It uses a Correlation-based Shack-Hartmann sensor for tilt sensing and a double-slit cross-fringe sensor for nanometer-level piston measurement. These instruments ensure strict alignment tolerances can be maintained despite the thermal and mechanical challenges of large-aperture deployment in space.
