The CO2M telescope features an off-axis Three Mirror Anastigmat design with an integrated polarization scrambler to support accurate greenhouse gas spectroscopy. By utilizing birefringent quartz prisms, the telescope effectively depolarizes incoming light, ensuring consistent performance for the onboard spectrometer. The structural design emphasizes thermal stability and mass optimization to meet stringent satellite payload requirements.
