This study investigates the spatio-temporal coherence of atmospheric turbulence to optimize adaptive optics pre-compensation for satellite optical feeder links (OFL). By identifying the limitations of anisoplanatism in uplink correction, the research uses extensive numerical simulations to assess how tip-tilt and higher-order mode corrections influence link performance. The findings guide the development of more effective Laser Guide Star strategies to maintain high data transmission rates.
