The DZIDA module provides a highly miniaturized laser communication solution for nanosatellites, occupying less than 0.3 U of volume. It employs a deliberately wide-beam optical design to relax strict pointing requirements, facilitating easier integration into small platforms. The system architecture addresses critical challenges such as beam collimation and high-power pulsed laser management for efficient space-to-ground downlinks.
