Innovative solar coronagraph designs, such as inverted-occultation schemes, eliminate the need for traditional support pylons to significantly reduce diffracted stray light. By analyzing the optical principles common to missions like Solar Orbiter and Proba-3, these designs provide higher suppression performance for plasma observation. This research guides the development of future instruments capable of monitoring the Sun's outer atmosphere with greater sensitivity.
