To improve carbon emission monitoring, this project advances a 2 µm space lidar using frequency conversion for integrated path differential absorption (IPDA). This approach targets high-precision CO2 measurements in the atmospheric boundary layer, essential for top-down flux retrieval. The technology also integrates vertical profiling capabilities to mitigate regional biases and enhance climate model accuracy.
