The ACDL payload on the DQ-1 satellite is the world's first spaceborne lidar combining CO2 column absorption measurement with high-spectral-resolution aerosol profiling. By utilizing a 1572 nm IPDA channel and an iodine-filter-based 532 nm HSRL, it achieves high-accuracy greenhouse gas and aerosol monitoring. This dual-subsystem design provides day-and-night coverage and unprecedented observation performance for climate science.
