This initiative matures Rydberg-atom-based RF sensors by transitioning them from laboratory prototypes to ruggedized, space-ready flight hardware. Key developments include miniaturizing laser frequency stabilization and mechanical packaging to maintain absolute measurement precision in demanding operational environments. The project ensures these high-sensitivity quantum sensors can be effectively deployed for space-based electromagnetic monitoring.
