The Constellation Acquisition System (CAS) Optical Head is designed to acquire and stabilize laser beams across a 50 million km baseline for the LISA gravitational wave observatory. Featuring a wide field of view and micro-radian pointing accuracy, the system ensures precise injection of laser light into the primary interferometer. Its electromagnetic development addresses the extreme stability requirements necessary for detecting space-time ripples.
