MiniCAS is a miniaturized optical system designed for instantaneous spacecraft attitude acquisition with microradian sensitivity. It utilizes a beacon emitter and a receiving aperture to convert beam tilts into measurable spot displacements on a sensor plane. This replaces time-intensive nine-hour scanning procedures with a compact, high-precision alignment solution for constellation-based inter-satellite links.
