This predictive control method uses Linear Quadratic Gaussian (LQG) algorithms to mitigate point-ahead angle turbulence in geostationary feeder links. By integrating phase and intensity data from wavefront sensors, it overcomes the limitations of anisoplanatism, which traditional feed-forward systems fail to correct. This approach significantly reduces signal fading and enhances the stability of high-speed laser communication links between satellites and ground stations.
