This conceptual design for an optical ground station aims to replace exhausted RF bands with ultra-broadband laser communication for LEO constellation feeder links. By leveraging laser technology, the system mitigates interference and enables the high-capacity throughput required for Beyond 5G and 6G networks. The initiative builds on long-term R&D to provide a scalable terrestrial interface for non-terrestrial networks.
