OGS Jena serves as a critical testbed for adaptive-optics-assisted fiber coupling to support interoperable optical communication networks. The station uses an 80 cm Cassegrain telescope with Nasmyth ports to relay signals to a laboratory for flexible subsystem validation. This development focuses on enabling high-capacity classical and quantum links through advanced atmospheric compensation technologies.
