Moon Photonics develops HgCdTe avalanche photodiode detectors that offer exceptionally high gain and low noise for photon-starved applications. By extending spectral sensitivity into the mid-IR range, these detectors enhance performance for Lidar and free-space optical communications. The technology aims to provide high-sensitivity solutions that overcome traditional scaling limitations in industrial and quantum optical sensing.
