This work introduces a novel wireless optical phase-reference system for characterizing large RF antennas without physical cabling. By utilizing a bidirectional round-trip configuration, it enables precise estimation and correction of optical path variations during probe movement. This technology significantly improves measurement coherence and enables autonomous near-field antenna scanning.
