The NewAthena X-ray observatory utilizes Silicon Pore Optics (SPO) to provide high-throughput, high-resolution imaging. The current telescope design uses a precise 3D geometric model to optimize plate alignment across the full aperture, accounting for thermal and gravity-induced distortions. Advanced ray-tracing analysis tools confirm the mirror assembly's ability to meet scientific requirements for effective area and angular resolution in high-energy astrophysics applications.
