Tapered-amplifier laser modules provide high-power, fiber-coupled emission for space-based cold-atom quantum sensors. Operating in the 760–780 nm range, these modules combine high spectral stability with the robustness required for microgravity environments. This technology demonstrator paves the way for higher-power satellite missions that require advanced laser cooling capabilities.
