This hybrid bonding process combines molecular adhesion and pulsed laser welding to eliminate adhesives from optical assemblies. It successfully joins heterogeneous materials like glass-ceramic to metal without the outgassing risks associated with traditional epoxies. This technique ensures high-precision alignment and long-term mechanical stability in extreme space environments.
