This project develops SiO₂/Ta₂O₅ dielectric coatings for a LiNbO₃ Fabry-Perot etalon used in solar polarimetry. By integrating an ITO transparent electrode, the design allows for piezoelectric fine-tuning of resonance peaks to match specific spectral lines. This precise control is essential for maintaining accurate solar monitoring performance in the Vigil mission.
