The new deformable mirror technology for high-power lasers utilizes a thick face sheet to support high-reflectivity coatings and active cooling. By replacing custom ceramics with standard industrial piezo actuators, the system improves reliability and simplifies wiring. The hardware is fully compatible with existing adaptive optics ecosystems, providing a mature solution for high-power FSO and astronomy applications.
