High-precision measurement of the Modulation Transfer Function is performed for specialized microbolometer arrays ranging from UV to THz wavelengths. Isolating the intrinsic sensor response allows users to accurately model and budget foreoptics for Earth radiative budget measurements and space exploration. This testing capability is vital for optimizing the spatial resolution of detectors used in meteorology and wildfire monitoring.
