A novel Fast-Steering Prism (FSP) mechanism replaces traditional reflective steering mirrors with an inline, transmissive optical system. Using two optical windows separated by a Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) elastomer, the design creates a variable-angle prism for precise two-axis beam alignment. This architecture offers a more compact and streamlined optical path, improving alignment responsiveness for high-frequency inter-satellite communication disturbances.
