This laser-array architecture unifies acquisition and high-rate data transmission within a single optical transmitter. Spatially addressable emitters synthesize structured beam patterns, providing a wide-coverage beacon for initial alignment and a high-intensity narrow beam for data transfer. This integration reduces hardware redundancy, switching latency, and the mechanical complexity of traditional multi-stage acquisition systems.
