The ARRAKIHS mission employs a high-performance multi-stage baffle architecture to achieve straylight rejection levels down to 10⁻¹¹ for ultra-low-surface-brightness galaxy observations. Optical verification using a dedicated breadboard facility at the Centre Spatial de Liège demonstrates the system's ability to minimize out-of-field light. This ensures the required sensitivity for detecting faint dark matter structures in the visible-to-near-infrared range.
