The Main Oscillator (MO) seed laser serves as the foundational component for the LISA laser system, enabling picometer-level path length perturbation detection. By operating at the core of the three-armed interferometer, this laser system facilitates the observation of low-frequency gravitational waves from black hole mergers and cosmic structures. This development is critical to reducing the mission's noise floor and achieving reliable interplanetary measurements.
