HAMLET is a compact hyperspectral imaging instrument derived from HyperScout heritage, specifically optimized for the ESA RAMSES asteroid mission. It captures spatially resolved spectral data in the VIS, NIR, and SWIR ranges to analyze Apophis’s surface composition and regolith properties. The instrument's miniaturized architecture provides crucial diagnostic capability for planetary defense and small-body scientific investigation.
