Spanish GEO QKD Field Test System End to End Validation Results

In 30 seconds

The Spanish GEO QKD initiative demonstrates an end-to-end quantum key distribution system hosted on a geostationary telecommunications satellite. The project validates the prepare-and-measure payload architecture through comprehensive field tests between ground stations in La Palma and Tenerife. These results confirm the feasibility of long-distance quantum link operations from high-orbit platforms.
