This FPGA-based pipeline architecture performs real-time pixel binning on hyperspectral imagery to optimize signal-to-noise ratios and data throughput. By enabling flexible spatial and spectral merging, it allows for adaptive onboard processing without increasing system latency. The design demonstrates efficient resource utilization and improved image quality for diverse observation requirements.
