ALTIUS provides high-resolution atmospheric monitoring of ozone and aerosols using three hyperspectral channels featuring tunable active spectral filters. By integrating Acousto-Optic Tuneable Filters and a cascade of Fabry-Pérot Interferometers, the system captures full limb images with 1 km vertical resolution. This spectral agility enables precise, real-time tracking of atmospheric constituents across the UV, visible, and near-infrared ranges.
