The Carbon Camera employs commercial off-the-shelf InGaAs detectors to measure total column concentrations of CO2 and CH4 at 300 m resolution. Detailed detector-level characterization of dark current, noise, and quantum efficiency ensures the instrument meets the stringent radiometric performance required for the TANGO mission. This approach demonstrates a viable pathway for high-precision greenhouse gas monitoring using cost-effective New Space components.
