This calibration concept uses an onboard Fourier Transform Spectrometer (FTS) to characterize the spectral response of dispersive spectrometers without complex metrology. By generating modulated calibration scenes, it allows for precise retrieval of the Instrument Spectral Response Function and corrects for in-flight performance drifts. Validation on the EBB-CO2i prototype confirms its effectiveness in accurately assessing SWIR channel performance.
