The solar polychromator for the TRUTHS mission provides a tunable, high-accuracy radiometric reference across the 320–2400 nm band. Using a set of fused silica prisms and a hexagonal homogenizer, the device ensures a stable, uniform output flux for calibrating Earth observation instruments. This technology serves as a critical baseline for monitoring climate-related radiative changes with high confidence.
