The Optical Quantum Ground Station enables secure key distribution by utilizing a 43 cm telescope and high-efficiency beam combining and tracking systems. It supports both quantum protocols and high-speed 1 Gbps classical communication links between ground control and satellites. Initial characterization verifies the system’s performance in maintaining stable quantum links and polarization control.
