The AIRMO mission integrates a SWIR push-broom spectrometer with a micro-LiDAR to achieve precise greenhouse gas retrieval. By accounting for aerosol scattering and extinction through active LiDAR sounding, the system corrects biases in column-density measurements. This end-to-end approach significantly improves the accuracy of methane and carbon dioxide monitoring in challenging atmospheric conditions.
