The TRUTHS mission establishes a fiducial metrology laboratory in space by utilizing a Cryogenic Solar Absolute Radiometer (CSAR). By providing SI-traceable reference data, it calibrates other sensors to improve climate model accuracy and Earth radiation budget estimations.
