This work advances portable optical frequency comb technology for space-based spectrometer calibration and terahertz generation. By integrating dissipative Kerr soliton combs and gain-switched sources, the research demonstrates a transition from laboratory demonstrations to turn-key, portable systems. These frequency-stable devices serve as critical tools for linking optical and microwave domains in scientific space instrumentation.
