The MicroCarb spectrometer uses an innovative echelle grating and split-pupil telescope design to capture four narrow bands simultaneously for high-precision CO2 monitoring. Achieving a spectral resolution of R~25,000 requires extremely stringent Instrument Spectral Response Function knowledge. This work details the complex in-flight calibration and commissioning strategies required to validate the performance of this 180kg microsatellite payload.
